Action Comics # 900

Some spoilers for Action Comics # 900 by a slew of DC writers and artists...

We begin with Paul Cornel and Pete Woods ongoing Lex Luthor story arc in Action Comics.. When we last left off Lex, he had already gained the power of the Kryptonian Black rings which gives him infinite powers...

Superman flies off into space to confront this new and still egotistical Luthor. Meanwhile the rest of the Superman Squad find themselves in a secret base continually being tormented by Doomsday (which continues the Reign of Doomsday arc)...

Oh and aside from Doomsday they also have to face the wrath of the traitorous Cyborg Superman.

Back on Earth space, Luthor powers up and tries to break Superman's will. He even manages to find out Superman's identity as Clark Kent after bringing himself and Clark back into the time when Jonathan Kent died.

But the Man of Steel simply is what his monicker implies... Steel...

The battle rages on and Superman finds out that Luthor is slowly losing his powers the more he tries to down his most hated arch-nemesis giving Supes the window to exploit this weakness. In the end. He does however manage to spread eternal bliss for a few good minutes across the universe making hardened heroes like Batman and Deathstroke smile even for just a bit...

Heck even the Red Lanterns get a moment's reprieve from all their rage...

So well anyway after defeating Luthor, Superman follows the trail to his captured comrades and confronts several Doomsdays....
