In another part of the US, Attuma is wreaking havoc under the seas as one of the Worthy. He bid to infamy? Slaughtering dozens of Atlantean warriors...
The Serpent also amasses enough amounts of fear to rebuild his kingdom and return to his original state...
Meanwhile the Avengers' big three have their own missions. Captain America gets airdropped stateside to help his team. Iron Man returns to Broxton and Thor flies off to Antarctica.
The most dramatic of them all is Tony Stark who breaks his sobreity by drinking that bottle of alcohol given to him by Sasha and Justine Hammer during the "Resilient" arc.
Loved how he calls out to Odin and drinks the bottle marked as "Demon in the Bottle"...
Thor on the other hand confronts the Serpent who turns out to be his uncle. The Serpent reveals that he was supposed to be the rightful heir to the throne of Asgard until Odin usurped him from the throne.
Bonus spoiler: It seems that this is THE Serpent that Thor battles in which he gets killed after taking nine steps forward. An insurance policy that will make Odin suffer once his son and his brother comes to blows.
After their short conversation, Thor gets cast out of the Serpent's kingdom and gets zapped back into Manhattan where the Worthy's Hulk and Thing await him.
